Guruz Foundation
Guruz Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on bridging the knowledge gap between vocational education (MBO) and the labor market. They achieve this by producing 20-minute online guest lectures in collaboration with various Dutch employers. These guest lectures cover topics in sectors such as technology, food, ICT, healthcare, logistics, marketing, and sports. They are freely available to all MBO teachers and students in the Netherlands, enabling employers to share their expertise and present themselves as attractive internship providers and employers.
One of Guruz’s key partnerships is with Stichting Praktijkleren. This organization develops practice-oriented materials for vocational colleges (ROCs) and provides advice and support for hands-on education. Through this collaboration, Guruz’s online guest lectures can be more widely integrated into vocational education, strengthening the connection between education and the business world.
Foxmountain contributes to the mission of Guruz Foundation by producing unique guest lectures together with other video specialists. These guest lectures specifically aim to close the gap between vocational education and the business sector, which remains significant. Foxmountain is responsible for editing these guest lectures in an engaging way, incorporating animations and humor, specifically tailored to the MBO audience. This approach makes the content not only informative but also engaging and accessible for students, ultimately improving the alignment between education and practical work experience.
